I am a Solicitor specialising in Residential Conveyancing. I qualified in 1990 and have worked in conveyancing since that time. I have been a Partner with the firm since 2009. I am now the resident conveyancer at our Wombourne office. I studied at Guildford Law School before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1968. I became a partner in the firm in 1971. I specialise in all types of Residential and Commercial Conveyancing including factory unit and shop purchases & sales, residential sales & purchases, transfers, re-mortgages, probate conveyancing, shared ownerships and new build purchases and sales.

I am a Solicitor specialising in Residential Conveyancing. I qualified in 2015, however, started working in residential conveyancing in 2012, firstly as an administrative assistant and then progressing into a Paralegal role.
I joined Stephensons in March 2021 and I am based at our Brierley Hill office. I deal with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing,
including sales, purchases, transfers, re-mortgages, probate conveyancing, shared ownerships and
new build sale & purchases. I speak fluent Polish.

SHAFIQUE SHAH - SOLICITOR

Qualifications
I am a Solicitor specializing in Wills, Probate and Estate administration. I studied at City University in Birmingham where I obtained my LLB Honors Degree and also my Masters degree LLM in International Human Rights. I qualified as a Barrister in 2001 and cross qualified as a Solicitor in 2009.
I have practiced in several different areas of law but ultimately have specialized as a Wills and Probate Solicitor. I have over 10 years’ experience in this field and I advise on all areas of Private Client law, in particular, simple to complex Will drafting, administration of large and complex estates, estate planning for HNW clients, dealing with Lasting power of Attorneys, Deputyships and Court of Protection matters.
I also work alongside other departments in the firm, such as the conveyancing departments and with other professionals, such as financial advisors, government department officials, medical specialists, and accountants.

Qualifications
I am a Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney practitioner. I competed my law degree in 2013 and my post graduate degree in legal practice in 2016. I started working as a private client fee earner in 2017.
I joined Stephensons in February 2023 and I am based at our Brierley Hill office, although, I do see clients in our Wombourne office at least once a week.
I assist clients to create their Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, which includes drafting Property Trust Wills, Discretionary Trust Wills, and both finance and health-related Lasting Powers of Attorney.
